Building Validation Solutions is an independent building surveying company providing flexible and innovative claims solutions to meet client specific requirements. The company was set up after identifying a gap in the market to offer a highly focused customer service for low value building claims.

The Requirements

PJ Web were approached by Building Validation Solutions (BVS) in 2009 to develop a claims management system designed specifically for their needs within the insurance sector. BVS spent a 12-month period prior to going operational, where they carried out market research with insurers to identify weaknesses in current building validation products and set about eliminating these weaknesses through use of both technology and process change.

Building Validation Solutions appointed PJ Web to build their bespoke claims management system. They required a customisable, highly advanced web based claims management system designed specifically for the needs of the insurance market.

The Solution

PJ Web built what is now known as Metrix. Metrix is a customisable, highly advanced web based claims management system designed specifically for the needs of the Insurance Inspection, Repair and Reinstatement market.  The system has enabled BVS to streamline their business processes, achieve greater efficiencies and ultimately enable business growth whilst reducing internal costs.
