Frank Beirne Fabrics

Frank Beirne Fabrics is a very successful small family run Manchester business who markets their own branded range of flame retardant fabrics used for curtains and matching soft furnishings, plus flame retardant and MRSA resistant window blinds. Their products are ideally suited for nursing and rest homes, NHS buildings, universities, private health groups and golf and leisure clubs.

Frank Beirne Fabrics first approached PJ Web also based in Manchester in August 2007, as the company had recognised that despite already having a successful business, there was an opportunity to attract more leads and revenue through the Internet. They had already received various enquiries through directory listings and realised that with a full web presence with their own website, they could add more impact to their sales message.

As a small business they didn't have a huge budget for a website but on the other hand they didn't need one to get them off the ground. They needed a well designed, well optimised website that would perform well on search engines and suitably portray their products and services and in particular, their own branded range of flame retardant fabrics.

PJ Web designed, constructed and launched the site by January 2008 and since then, because the site is ranked highly on Google (first page) for flame retardant curtains, the company has received a significant number of web enquiries which has resulted in additional revenue for the business.

Frank Beirne Fabrics approached PJ Web again in October 2008 to extend the website further to display their ranges of flame retardant and MRSA resistant window blinds as this was becoming a significant part of their business.  Again high rankings have been gained for the key phrase 'flame retardant blinds'.

In a difficult trading environment, sales for Frank Beirne Fabrics are very buoyant and the website has been a successful marketing tool to help them win business and beat the competition.
